A small town run into big problems when teenagers hit a growth spurt and turn into gallivanting Goliaths an anti-elder rebellion and terrifying anyone under seven-foot tall. Featuring Hollywood teen stars Tommy Kirk, Johnny Crawford, Ronny Howard and Beau Bridges, this "fantastic and amusing tale" (Boxoffice" with 'stand-out special effects" (Variety) delivers gargantuan, sexy entertainment loaded with rock'n'roll. Eleven year-old Genius (Howard) mixes up some super-goo with his chemistry set, turning cat and ducks into giants. When a group of wild teenagers see the results, they gobble it up too and turn into towering tyrants, challenging adults and making mayhem while the world desperately searches for an anti-teen antidote. Filmmakers used a special lens to give the effect that the teens heads were 30 feet in the air. Censored scenes, including Johnny Crawford snatching clothing off Joy Harmon, were stolen during the production from an editing room. Featured rock 'n' roll hipsters "The Beau Brummels," had two 1965 to 100 hits, "Just a Little" and "Laugh Laugh.
